ENTRY REQUIREMENTS & INSTRUCTIONS

Must be graduating student of Haines City High School or Ridge Community High School for the 2025 school year.

The essay must be typed or legibly printed (no cursive).

No less than 600 words no more than 1000 words.

Must Type Black History Essay in the Subject Line.

Begin the Essay with “The Importance of African American/Black History, how has Black History and Black leaders impacted your life/ The Significance of the contributions by African/Black Americans and how you plan on paying it forward by giving back to the community.
